Filming Details

When filming, me and my group all had involvement. The first wide ranged shot, which pans revealing the school where the main task is set, was filmed by Jasmine. The second shot involving the characters of 'Alfie', 'Jack' & 'Che', applies the stationary (non panning) segment of the 180degree rule and was left to record on a tripod as the entire group was being casted in this particular scene. In the next scene a long-range shot reveals an empty school corridor, this was recorded by Alfie/Jasmine. After this scene we filmed a medium ranged tracking shot following a character down a corridor, (to maintain stability and avoid jolty footage our group acquired a trolley), we placed the camera and tripod and followed the character as he walked down the corridor. This was filmed by Alfie and the trolley was pushed by Che.


After this we see a mid-ranged pan shot, following the character as he walks towards another door, and after a transition we have the same panned shot with another character whom is leaving the school walking out into the back playground. We then see an extreme close up (ECU) which exposes the detail of the character's hand grasping the door handle before he enters the room. The character then enters the room exposed to a medium close up shot revealing the sharp screwdriver on the table (Cut-in shot). Over the next two scenes we have mid-range panned shots revealing the characters. After this we used a point-of-view shot (POV) as one of the characters aggressively runs towards another character.
